Continuing on from our learning yesterday we started our lesson using a game from Scootle. It looked at the chances of getting a certain type of slushy. The children had to yes, no, maybe and then fill the slushy machine to see if they were right. Within playing this game we used the words likely, unlikely, certain and impossible.

Identify outcomes of familiar events involving chance and describe them using everyday language such as ‘will happen’, ‘won’t happen’ or ‘might happen’ (ACMSP024)
The children used flip tiles and recorded the what the outcomes were when flipping these items.
