Hope and Optimism is seeing yourself as someone who learns and changes and makes progress over time. The opposite if this is being ‘stuck and static’.
Jasroz- I hope I can help people. Hope means I want to do it.
Tyson- Hope means someone might win the game or won’t.
Krish- Hope means never give up.
Angus- Hope sometimes means when you can try to help someone and you can say to them are you ok do you want me to help you?
Ayda- It means when you mum and dad go to work you might say I hope you have a good day.
Matthew- Hope means you might wish for sometime.
Talyn- Hope means never give up.
Angus- Hope means when you say to someone and your mum might say I hope you have a good day and I hope you might make new friends
Jasroz- I hope I can get an iPhone 8
Anna- I hope you have a good time at work
Johnny- I hope I can get a soccer ball
We opened dialogue about being hopeful and optimistic as a learner and what this might look, feel and sound like. We talked about also having a positive mindset and always trying out best.
