Our rotations for this morning were:
- Teacher guided days of the week.
- Digital timer challenge- how many things can you draw in 3 minutes, watching the time count down.
- Puzzles- matching written times to analogue clocks
- Laptops- ABC Splash- memory match of digital and analogue clock times
Tell time to the half-hour (ACMMG020)
Describe duration using months, weeks, days and hours (ACMMG021)
Here are some of the children’s reflections:
Dion- On the laptop I had to match the clocks and the timers
Johnny- We wrote the days of the week
Josh- When the timer started I drew as many soccer balls as I could
Amelia- On the laptop I had to match the times with the pictures
Krish- We matched the clock times
