When we entered the classroom at 8:40 we did reading. Reading helps our minds to focus and learn more words.
After Reading we did Writer’s Workshop. Writer’s Workshop is fun because you get to make your own stories.
After Writer’s Workshop we did our Literacy Investigations. I had to do Grammar and Word Knowledge. I like Literacy Investigations because it helps you learn about letters & words.
After Recess we did our math. We learnt about Maps and then we got to make our own fantasy world map. It was very fun because we got to draw our own maps & I like drawing.
After doing Maps my class went to buddies so we can organise our buddy assembly. 2PN’s buddies came as well, but I do not know what they were doing.
After lunch we did relaxation and then we did more learning about Life Cycles. I researched the life cycle of a red panda.
After doing the Life Cycles research we went to a pet learning thingy in the hall/PE place. There was a dog and some people got to pet it.
On Tuesday we went to music and Spanish. In music we watched a video and had fun. Then we danced to the beat. There were quarter notes and eighth notes. We also started learning about hand signs called solfage. Now we watch Miss Crisp’s favourite part of a movie and the people in the move sing. The movie was called the sound of Music.
Then we went to Spanish. First we did the roll. We said our favourite colours in Spanish. Then we played a game it was fun.
When we got back we did writer’s work shop making our books.
Then we did literacy investigations. My task was spelling and Mia’s was guided reading.
After fitness we did mathematics. The task was about a grid map. We had to show where things were on a map using letters and numbers. We then got to make a fantasy map.
After lunch we made our lanterns for the Moon Lantern Festival.
Today we went to the library and read “Ella and the Ocean”. It’s about a girl who dreamed about the ocean. After reading, we borrowed our books and sat on the floor while reading.
After library we went to P.E and learned “Baseball”
And we tried it out in groups. And some people were becoming partners. Then we did cricket.
After P.E we ate our recess. After recess the whole entire class did
“Spelling” after Spelling we could do Writers Work Shop or Prodigy.
After lunch we did Numeracy about maps and solve the questions.
After the maps 2JW to the Mudla to work with our buddies for assembly.
