A warm welcome to another ….
.MANY THANKS to the following students:
- Kaisha for leading morning organisation
- Monika for feeding Tiddles the Turtle
- Matthew & Carter and Thierry & Kanye for being very helpful superhero classroom assistants
- Ruby and Hayley for cleaning out the fish tank and giving our fish a lovely clean environment to swim around in
Here is our learning timetable and daily calendar information, which are read aloud and shared by our capable students:
After morning organisation we headed straight out to the oval for some early morning fitness, readying our brains for the day’s learning. Thank you to Tristan for taking the following photographs:
In Chapter 6 of our class novel, The Owl Who is Afraid of the Dark, Plop meets a man who likes to view the night sky through his telescope. Today, the children had the opportunity to create their own night sky in a Spaceship Porthole.
We adapted our timetable today to allow the students additional time to make their spaceship portholes.
Mrs Giannakakis shared a short scripture passage with the class – it was a reading from the book of Genesis, Chapter One, Verse 27 : ‘So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.’
As a celebration of their unique selves, the students were invited to create a T-Shirt giving or showing different kinds of information themselves which make them who they are.
