Friday is always fun in 2RS and 2JH … here’s the line up for today’s learning:
We began the day by enjoying R/1MS and R/1AM’s class assembly that was themed on ‘Commotion in the Ocean’. It was lovely to see our youngest students confidently take the stage to speak, dance and show us all their amazing learning about water and ocean life.
After assembly Mr Urdanoff joined us for fitness. We all thought he had some pretty cool moves.
Whilst we ate our brain food, we shared a final reading of Dora’s Eggs, a story we have all really enjoyed as it features lots of farm animals and their babies, plus lots of accompanying oinks, clucks, bleats and quacks! Everyone remembered the names for the baby animals – well done team!
The 2JH Sharks did some amazing reading today. Mrs Handforth was very proud of each and every one of them:
After a rainy playtime it was time for investigations:
This week in mindfulness we have been exploring a website where we weave silk and make some amazing patterns.
Earlier in the week, we made clay sea creatures. After leaving them to dry out and harden, today some of us got to paint them using acrylic paints. Everyone else will paint theirs next week – we promise! We also practised drawing different sea creatures to make our very own seascapes.
Have a great weekend everybody – stay safe, have fun and be happy 🙂
