Welcome to week 5 everyone!!

Today Mrs Handforth was away and rested at home as she wasn’t feeling very well. We were lucky enough to have Mr McCarthy in our room for the day.

This morning we had Mr DePalma come to visit our room and do some maths with us. We made our own number lines from 0-1000. We then rolled dice to make 3 digit numbers and plot them onto our number lines. The task was a great challenge and we had to work in small teams together. There was some great problem solving and collaboration. Here are some photos taken while we were hard at work.

After recess we took turns going to visit the MUDLA to create plans for the new school billabongs with Mr McCarthy while the others did the reading Pat test in the class. We popped out for some fitness, then swapped over.
