Class Novel – The Twits

After watching a short news programme about a volcano in Hawaii and a Siberian tiger who has given birth to quintuplets (yes, that’s FIVE babies!), we engaged in our 4th rotation of literacy investigations.
The Vervet Monkeys were working hard at adding detail and interest to sentences by using adjectives (describing words). They used a thesaurus to find more interesting alternatives to words like: big, small and nice.

This afternoon we practised some Yoga poses. It helped the children relax and be mindful after staying inside for both play breaks today.
