Monday (Week 10: Term 3)

Oh my! We’ve reached the final week of Term 3 already. Time flies when you’re having fun.

Tomorrow we have a Year 3 Cricket Clinic, so students may wear sport uniform if they wish to do so.

Here’s our timetable for today:

Today we shared the story of the The Messy Magpie.

Today we were investigating Australian and European Magpies.

Tori was inspired to make herself into a magpie … complete with beak and wings.

In Numeracy Mrs Papillo encouraged the students to revisit the numeracy flipcharts we have worked on over the term, completing any outstanding learning or having extra practice or an additional challenge in specific areas of mathematics.

Mr Ryan, armed with his guitar, took 3JH and 3MP for Music today. Mrs Opazo took them for Spanish as usual.

The children were asked to make as many positive comments about themselves this afternoon.  This information was to lead them to the understanding that God made them this way and that our friends at school see the positives everyday at school when learning and playing.

Weekend news
Tori was busy with her lego at home over the weekend: check out her LEGO mansion (and that’s Scooby the family pet watching her progress). Great making, Tori!
