It’s arrived! The very last day of Year 3 … and what a wonderful year it has been.
Margot and I have thoroughly enjoyed every day spent learning with our fabulous Year 3 students, a very special group of children whose creativity, enthusiasm and love of learning have been evident throughout the year.
It has beeen a privilege to be a part of your child’s learning, growth and development. Thank you so much for your heartfelt words of thanks, and for the cards and gifts. We have both loved teaching your children!
Today our Year 6/7 Leavers hosted an outstanding assembly, which our students really enjoyed – lots of music, memories and dancing.
We did a classroom clean up and sorted out all our books to take home (Note: the children do an awful lot of work using software these days, so if the books seem a little light on content, please remember the awesome iMovies, animations, multimedia flipcharts and so on that the children have created).
We said GOODBYE to Marley today, who is leaving us to join a new school in Year 4. We wish her the very best of luck for the future.
Stefan left at lunchtime. He was sad to say goodbye to his friends, but they all gave him a BIG hug and even lined the route to the front of school with salutes.
In the afternoon, we shared some of our thoughts and memories about the year we spent together …
So, from Margot and I, we wish you and yours a very …
Stay safe and be happy!
Please come along and say hello next year. Mrs Papillo is teaching Reception/Year 1 with Mrs Sharman and Mrs Norris, who are returning from maternity leave. Mrs Handforth is teaching Year 2 with Mrs Giannakakis.
God bless, Jo and Margot xxx
