At Holy Family, you will frequently hear members of our school community talk about the 100 languages of children.
The hundred languages refer to the endless number of children’s potentials, their ability to wonder and to inquire. They remind us that there are multiple ways of seeing and multiple ways of being. The term was coined by Louis Malaguzzi, the founder of Reggio Emilia’s educational philosophy and is defined in his renowned poem:
