Our STEM challenge today involved creating the tallest tower using only toothpicks and marshmallows. Students worked in a small group to do this and showed fantastic collaboration skills.
We invite you to join us for a tour of Alive Catholic Early Learning, Parafield Gardens co-located with Holy Family Catholic School.
At Alive Catholic Early Learning, we are committed to creating positive early learning experiences – because how children learn, shapes who they become. During this tour, you will meet Acting Director Nicole Tropeano and hear about our learning philosophy. Find out about how we will work in partnership with you to nurture your child’s full potential, as we recognise that you’re the one who knows your child best.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see the centre in action, experience our learning spaces and ask any questions.

Hello families of 5/6 HM and AE,
As our busy term is almost half way through, I’m very much aware that some parents are beginning to wonder what some of the important dates are for the end of year celebrations.
However here are some of the dates to remember. Please keep in mind that some of these apply to year 6 students only.
In among all of these exciting events we still have some great learning to take place. It is our aim for this to continue right up until the end of the year. For our year 6 students it’s a great time to prepare and be involved in the transition to secondary school, while our year 5’s are learning what is involved in becoming the ‘Seniors’ at school. The notes and money for the compulsory senior jumpers in 2020 are due along with any outstanding Camp forms. We are keen to get final numbers for camp by the end of this week.
Please feel free to put these dates in your calendar as we look forward to sharing these events with families. We will endeavour to keep you up to date with as much of the details as possible. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
