Science….continuing our science gravity experiments!

Today most students continued writing the results and evaluating their results for their gravity experiments.

I read some great explanations and engaged in some thought provoking discussions about the nature of gravity.

Keerat: “When objects fall the lighter ones are affected by air resistance more but the heavier ones can cut through the air quicker. Gravity still pulls each one down at the same rate”.

Zack: Lift makes the paper planes wings push up”.

VT: “Centripetal force pulls the spinning cup inwards while centrifugal force pushes the water into the bottom of the cup as it is spinning”.

Olek: “the cellophane paper didn’t trap enough air when we dropped the egg so it broke”.

Paul tested his paper copter to see if it would guide the egg safely to the ground.
