Guided Reading Week 5- Mungo Man

 

  1. Mungo Man is the oldest skeleton ever found in Australia. How old is Mungo Man’s skeleton? Approximately was 40 thousand years old.

2. In which region was Mungo Man’s skeleton discovered? Add a map of the country.He was discovered at Mungo Lake.

3. Why were the traditional Aboriginal owners of the Willandra Lakes angry?Because the aboriginal people wanted Mungo Man to stay with his spirits.

4. How did geologist Jim Bowler find the skeleton?Jim bowler found Mungo Man by doing a research trip and he saw something wooden sticking up so then he found Mungo Man.

week 4 investigation

Today I cut out some of the papers my friends helped me too.I put the blocks all in the right colour then I used the blocks to help me in division then and Daniel and Fayzan and me. packed up all the paper and the blocks.I sorted out some takeaway sums and some division sums as well.

Chinese New Year week 4

The Chinese people have a different calendar called the Lunar Calendar.

Chinese and Vietnamese people celebrate with fireworks. They clean there house to wipe away the bad luck.They do a Dragon Dance or a Lion Dance.They all where red and they do special dances.They there mum or dad or grandma or grandpa give them red envelopes and in the red envelopes there is money.They eat dumplings,noodles and rice.

week 3 Guided Reading

I learnt to speak when I was 2 years old and I learnt lots of new words because I watched a lot of rhymes and always listened to whatever my parents say then when there talk was done I used to say some words to and copied them.I learnt to read when I was 4 years old because in India I read loads of books first looked at picture books then I could read writing books.I learnt to write when was 8 because in India there are lots of tough teachers and the teachers gave us so much home of writing but before that my grandma helped me write then I could write by my own and do all the homework and my grandma was really proud of me and I was proud of myself to.
