Firstly, thank you so much to all the parents who could attend our assembly this morning, we know how difficult it can be to arrange time off to be able to come to this events, so thank you to everyone who was able to be there, the students absolutely loved showcasing their learning, and the belonging we share with all of you 🙂
Our assembly was based on our learning power of, Belonging!
This dimension is about how much I feel part of a ‘learning community’, a group with a shared commitment to learn, improve and do better, whether at school, at work, at home or in my wider community. It’s about the confidence I gain from knowing there are people around me whom I learn well with and to whom I can turn when I need guidance, support and encouragement in my learning journey.
Our year of learning so far has had belonging underlying everything we doing. Children making their own understanding how when we all work together, we can accomplish absolutely anything. The children spoke beautiful through their reading parts and performed amazing showcasing their languages of music and dance.
We have an abundance of photos and videos from our special time together this morning. Please take a look.
After recess children engaged in their play based investigations as they explored all their learning, and had fun celebrating their enormous effort they put into their amazing assembly! We also ventured out into log park to explore our learning with mother nature!
After lunch, children engaged in relaxation before reflecting on their assembly through either writing or illustrating what they enjoyed most about their amazing spectacle!
S – Dear God, Thank you for the beautiful nature and the wonderful day I had with the whole wide world. Amen
