“There are no great limits to growth because there are no limits of human intelligence, imagination, and wonder” – Ronald Reagan

Our Day at a Glance

Smart CARA
This morning we emptied the Smart CARA for the first time. We saw that our fruit scraps had all dried out, so we put them into the garden. We had to use our teamwork because the bucket was heavy and some of the scraps were really stuck in there.

Numeracy Investigations
While R/1MS was at sport, R/1EQ continued to explore patterns. Some children played pattern games or drew patterns on the laptops, others drew patterns on paper, or used the cross templates to decorate with patterns. R/1MS continued to explore patterns upon their return from sport.

As the children were working, they began singing Old Town Road, so before brain food, the children had a quick dance party to get their bodies moving.

Investigations
After recess, we were joined by R/1GC & 4MR for investigations. We love having our old friends in the class to share our learning. We opened up the back courtyard and the children engaged with patterns, laptops, building and puzzles inside. The home corner was ‘open’ and the shop was in full swing.

Class Prayer
The assistants chose not to pray today. They also chose for the teachers not to pray.
