Thursday 7th December

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well as we are getting closer to Christmas and the silly season coming upon us.
This morning I woke up early at about six and I saw an amazing rainbow in the sky and I went inside and got side tracked so when I remembered I went back outside to take a photo of the rainbow. Well, it had gotten cloudy so there was only a little of the rainbow that was visible. I had missed the moment!!!!
Isn’t that what happens to us a lot in our lives – we get so caught up in things that WE MISS THE MOMENT. We can never get that moment back.

We read the book Bertie and the Bear.
What noise would you make if you were chasing Bertie and the Bear?
Lily: A monkey noise
Liam: Barking noise
Mansuraat: whistling noise
Aakemjot: Meow
Michael: A cow noise
Charlize: A monkey noise
Portia: A snake noise
Jayden B: A tiger noise
Saanvi: A puppy noise
Eziekiel: A lion noise
Aurora: An elephant noise

We then did a Go Noodle dance, and went to the playground for a play.

and then we went to the End of Year School Mass, where we farewelled teachers who were leaving the school and also students who were leaving.
It was then time for recess.
Relaxation time helped to calm our bodies and minds so that we could then begin our investigations

In Investigations I……

Dion: I made a house with the blocks.
Anna: I was drawing a picture of Miss Canala.
Aurora: I was reading the bible with Mansuraat
Phuc: I was at the playdough table. I tried to make a snowman , but I made a beautiful butterfly
Joseph: I made a boat out of paper.
Ann: I was making a sleigh for Santa.
After lunch we had music and religion.
Today we read the story about Jacobs’ ladder and how he had a dream

We then did our Advent Calendar activity which was to make a card for a grandparent or a grandfriend.

What was the best part of your day
