Come Read With Me

Children are encouraged to choose a book to read and use their reading strategies to read this text.

Below is an image of our reading strategies that children can use to assist.

Literacy

We are continuing to read ‘The Paper Dolls’ by Julia Donaldson. Please take a moment to watch Mrs. Feher read through ‘The Paper Dolls’ in the video attachment below.

Paper Dolls

After this children will be encouraged to create their own set of paper dolls. Have a think about what wonderful adventures they might go on!

Children may create a mini book of the story.

In class children will have different literacy experiences to do, these are;

  • Create Paper Dolls
  • Create Mini Books of the story
