R/1MC started the day with their assembly alongside their buddies from 5/6BM. The students all did an amazing job sharing their 100 languages to the school.
Both classes then spent the afternoon engaging in a series of play investigations surrounding student interests. These activities ranged from Lego, outdoor play, flour play, puzzles and construction with pop-sticks. It was great to see students play and experiment with flour ass they added water into the flour to make a dough mixture and play around with the the new mixture they had created.
While everyone engaged in the different activities, groups were given the opportunity to paint a portrait of their fathers and male role models as a gift for fathers day. Happy Fathers day to all the dads and grandfathers!
