R1MP Come Read With Me
The students shared their books this morning as they read with a partner. The children also discussed high frequency words with the teacher. Some of these words can be ‘tricky’ and cannot be sounded out, we just have to know them. Some tricky words we often come across are:

The students were asked to search for objects in the classroom this morning and record the drawings and words on their sheet of paper.

Keeping Safe
To begin our lesson this afternoon we shared the story called The Three Little Pigs. Afterwards, we talked about the feelings of the characters and who in the story felt safe or did not feel safe.
We discussed what safe means and explored where safe places could be for some of us, who are safe people and what are some safe things to do.
