Thursday (Term 3 | Week 10)

Welcome to the final day of Term 3!

Congratulations Scarlett on 200 nights of reading. We are very proud of your reading and dedication. Well done!

Thank you to Ariana for bringing in your book to share today. As we know, Ariana has recently become a big sister herself!

Moon Lantern Assembly

A firm annual favourite at Holy Family, today we celebrated the Moon Lantern Assembly together in the hall, which Mr Matthew Stramare and Mrs Hong Nguyen had so beautifully decorated.

We were very proud to see lots of our lanterns, made in class and at home decorating the hall.

A special mention for Yasha (R1JH) who won a certificate and prize her amazingly creative ‘spider in a web’ themed lantern. Congratulations, Yasha!

Watch some of the Dragon Dance here (Mr Stramare – the dragon’s head; Mr Pearce – the dragon’s rear; Miss Battifuoco – the Fat Man).

We also videoed the amazing Vietnamese dancers – here’s a couple of minutes of an amazing 5 minute performance. Well done Mrs Hong and all the dancers!

Play Investigations

Students return to school in Term 4

on Tuesday 13th October.

See you then!
