Today during come read with me – the children were asked to find words that had the digraph ‘ow’ in their reading books. Super spotting team!

Literacy Rotations
Today’s focus for our literacy rotations:
Red Group
- Editing a text
- Listing ‘oi’ words and constructing a sentence.
As a group we read the text –
it woz hot day and wet to the sop to by sum ice-cream and the ice-cream woz $2 and had to ask mum four the coins and she give me to coins and I wet and buyed the ice-cream and it woz yum and then I wet hom
Then we looked for things that were wrong – words that didn’t look right OR words that didn’t make sense. Together we edited the text.

The children walked around the Mudla and decided which creature they would like to learn more about.
Today they extended their understandings through observation , recording and discussion. What can we notice? What do you know?
