Shared Text – Celeste the Giraffe Loves to Laugh
Today we shared the book Celeste the Giraffe Loves to Laugh by Celeste Barber. The book talks about how we are all special in our own way – a lovely sentiment to share to start our day.
Zoom Special Guest!
Today we had a special guest visit our class for Book Week via zoom! The Author of Sneaky Puss Goes Exploring, Pauline Malkoun talked us through her book and then shared a video of the Illustrator Rick Sgambellone showing us how he creates faces in his drawing and showed us how he draws Sneaky Puss.
Some of us gave illustrating Sneaky Puss a go while Rick was showing us how he does it, take a look!
Bucket Filling
Mrs. Rodgers – The people that helped clean today have filled my bucket.
Helena – I filled my sisters bucket when I helped her up.
Esrom – Edward at lunch was playing with me and it filled my bucket.
Senay – Noah filled my bucket when he let me play with his bayblade spinner.
Alexis – Arianna filled your bucket when she played with me.
Srey Meas (hand up for having her bucket filled today).
Keth – Arianna, Alexis and Alice filled my bucket when they were playing with me. m
Kunal – I played with Andreas and he helped me when I fell down.
Avelyn – Andreas filled my bucket when he was playing with me.
Alice – Arianna filled my bucket because she went to the canteen with me.
Ishpreet – I was playing with Mya and filled my bucket.
Lucas – I was making Edward happy and that filled his bucket.
Mckayla – I filled Helena’s bucket when she was hurt and I took her to the office.
Bior – I filled Noah’s bucket when I was playing with him on the playground.
