children are effective communicators and connected with their world: 100 languages & Thukeri

using our 100 languages to explore Thukeri

This morning we revisited the story of Thukeri! The children were excited and were able to confidently and enthusiastically engage in dialogue discussing the events of the story. We then used our 100 languages to retell the story. It was great to see the children use their learning powers of creativity, curiosity and belonging during this time.
The children were very expressive in their play and were able to make meaning using the following explorations:
drawing, play dough, fishing, dramatic play, water play, painting, chalk drawing, construction, loose parts, mini world, laptops and puppets.

We were then joined by our buddies who engaged in reading with us!
