Churros y Chocolate

For Nourish and Flourish Day Señora Opazo and Mr Bartold with the students made “Churros y Chocolate.” Churros are a golden fritter of pastry that’s deep fried and eaten warm. A Spanish favourite, churros make a delcious dessert but are eaten traditionally in Spain for breakfast. Churros are the ultimate treat to have with a mug of hot chocolate or dipped in a little melted chocolate. Señora Opazo and Mr Bartold with the help of Señora Opazo’s daughter Viviana made over 150 churros to share with students and staff. It was an “Fantastico” effort. Well done! The students and staff enjoyed the Spanish taste experience.

Jordan (6/7RV) – It was a good experience. They tasted delicious!

Sweata (6/7RV) – It was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I would definitely eat them again.

Hayley (6/7IB) – It was a fantastic time and I really enjoyed it.

Amity (6/7IB) – It was a good learning experience.
