Señora Opazo has been working with the Receptions, Year1’s and Year 2’s to learn more about Spain and it’s culture. Look at the wonderful flags that the children have created and shared during their time in Spanish.
Señora Opazo has been teaching the Receptions, Year 1’s and Year 2’s a “Cancion de Saludos” a greeting song that introduces to the children the different types of greetings that are used during a day.

The Junior Primary children have been designing and creating their own Arbol de la Vida, which is a Mexican tradition. The children drew what they thought the Tree of Life meant to them. Students in Reception to Grade Two are involved in weekly Spanish lessons. They are developing their skills in communicating in Spanish through listening, speaking, reading and viewing and the use of body language, visual cues and signs. They are learning songs, greetings, numbers and the days of the week.
