We are fast approaching the 2019 Spring Fair October 20th 2019 !

Ride passes are now on sale at the front office or via the QKR app. 

Cost : $40

Unlimited rides between 2pm and 5pm.

Date: Sunday 20th October

Time: 11am-8pm

Attractions:

Entertainment: Rides, Games, Animal Nursery, Plant stall, Dancing displays, Choir, Jumping Castles, Craft stalls, Plant stalls, Auctions, Chocolate Wheel, Show bags, cake stall.

Food: Vietnamese, BBQ, Yiros, Hot Chips, Potato on a Stick, Bubble Tea, Sno Cones, Indian Food, Italian Food, Gelato.

And so much more!

Our wonderful event cannot happen without the generous assistance of our community. If you are able to volunteer a little of your time on the day we would love to hear from you.

As the 2019 Spring Fair approaches we are all getting very excited.

We had a very successful donut day that raised funds for us to start locking in some of our vendors and attractions for the fair.

On Tuesday 13th August there will be a Spring Fair meeting at 7pm in the Staffroom. Everyone is welcome and as you would know the more hands the better for these busy events.

We are seeking as much assistance as we can gather from our parent community and any time (feedback or expertise) you can offer is greatly appreciated!

We have several more donation days and fundraisers coming up so keep an eye out in the regular newsletter updates and the blog.

Bring on the Spring !

Thank you to all of our parent volunteers, staff and community members for an amazingly successful Spring Fair.

Listening to the buzz of the children today, they all had a fabulous time enjoying everything the day had to offer.

We appreciate the way our community supports an event that is so important to our school identity.

It was a wonderful display of community, culture, and relationships in our school.

PS. Agapanthus plants will continue to be for sale via the front office for $4 per pot.

Dear parents/caregivers,

The Spring Fair on Sunday 21 October is quickly approaching and we are looking for volunteers to help on the day. It is a fun day had by all and a fantastic community event.

We are looking for volunteers to assist on a variety of stalls and if you are able to offer an hour on the day between 11am and 8pm, we would really appreciate your support.

Please email springfair@holyfamily.catholic.edu.au with your availability eg 1-2pm, anytime between 11am-4pm etc.  Volunteers will be advised on Friday 19 October which stall they have been allocated to once responses have been finalised.

We are after donations of general bric a brac for our second hand stall. Any second hand items (no electrical) in good order can be dropped off at the school during week 1.

We are getting excited about the upcoming fair !

We would like to extend a warm welcome to any members of the community that would be interested in being involved with the Spring Fair to attend our next meeting on Wednesday 22nd August. Simply sign in at the front office and they can show you the way !

Ways you can be involved :

Time: we are always looking for helpers both on the committee and for setting up and cleaning up for the fair. Even an hour of your time would be appreciated. Let us know if you can volunteer, you don’t need to attend meetings and you can simply let us know what kind of help you would like to offer. We are always looking for helpers on stalls such as ice-cream stall, drink selling, lolly stall, plant stall etc.

Donations: We are always seeking donations of large and small items for our Auctions. Auction items include vouchers, giftware, garden equipment, artwork, small appliances, children’s toys, bikes etc.

Stalls: are you artistic or creative? Do you have a small business or crafty hobby? Why not nominate to hold a stall in our craft and small product area. Simply contact the office and they will let you know the details.
