Today our whole school celebrated Catholic Identity Day. We explored the theme, the 7 Laudato Si Goals from Pope Francis. In 1CZ & 1EJ we learnt how we can help our world by reducing our carbon footprint. We created posters to share our learning.

Well done to all the Year 1’s on their efforts at our Mass about St Aloysius this week.

This term in the Arts we are exploring elements of dance. Students are using movement to create and follow different dance sequences. Today we enjoyed learning ‘Chicken Dance’.

This term in Science we are looking at Biological Science. We have been focusing on living and non-living things.

This week we spent an exciting  lesson in the MUDLA searching for living and non-living things.

Good morning families,

Welcome to Term 2!  We hope you all had a relaxing break, it has been a busy start to the term. We are looking forward to an exciting term, with lots of events  coming up in the next few weeks.

In Week 4 we have our assembly. Due to covid this will be a recorded Assembly, it will be uploaded by Friday 27th of May for families to view.

Week 5 is Mission Week. On Friday 3rd of June students will be selling games and items to raise money for charity. Our class will be creating ‘Noughts and Crosses’. For this game we need to collect milk bottle caps. If you could please bring in any milk bottle caps you have at home, that would be greatly appreciated.
