Welcome back for the final term of 2024. We hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays!
It has been wonderful seeing so many of the children happy and excited to get back into learning.
We have a busy term coming up with some of the important dates being:
- 1KS and 3SB Assembly on the 8th of November
- 1EJ and 4AC Assembly on the 15th of November
- Carols Night on the 6th of December
This week in Literacy, we have been exploring onset and rhyme. We have explored the word families ‘ake, awe, ay and ide’.
In Mathematics, we have been investigating 2D shapes. The students have been practicing drawing, labeling and describing the attributes of 2-dimensional shapes and objects.
In Religion, we have been learning about the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is God’s constant presence with people and all the world.
