Welcome to wonderful week FOUR! Our first month of learning together has been a busy one! Each day we give the students the following reminders to ensure we have a safe and happy day of learning. You may like to chat with your child about our classroom rules.
With our ‘Teamwork’ assembly fast approaching the students have been learning several songs. The song linked below will be used during prayer, if you’d like to practise at home.
During English lessons this week we have been working hard on our sounds and sight words! We have also continued our fabulous book making. We discussed the way various authors begin their stories and had a go writing our own.
For Maths, students continued exploring correct number formation and worked on recognition of numbers to 120. We had a go at creating a number chart puzzle, thinking hard about numbers that come before and after.
Book making- The students have been doing a wonderful job making books this year. They are being brave spellers when creating their books. Here are the children in action:
