Welcome to Week 5, we are nearly halfway through our first term of Year 1. This week we investigated the sounds /h/ /f/ and /m/ as well as the sight word ‘on’. Students have been working diligently on their handwriting. We have been noticing that some of our letters must be taller than others and some need to fall under the line. Here is a reminder when practising at home 🙂

During Maths lessons we have been focusing on teen numbers. You may like to listen to this catchy tune at home to practise place value!
