In Writer’s Workshop this morning we began looking at Information Texts!

The children were asked to explore a range of information texts and investigate the special features in them. We then had a discussion to unpack our findings, which included:

‘They are information books. They tell us information about things’ – Will

‘There’s an index, a glossary and contents page’ – Ayan

‘There’s facts’ – Chase

‘There’s labels’ – Raavi

‘There’s lots of pictures’ – Eleazar
