Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by  respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, (Reconciliation Australia 2021).

To do this children at Holy Family Catholic School created a Sea of Hearts during National Reconciliation Week 27th May – 3rd June. This year’s theme is, ‘Be Brave Make Change’.

Last week 2EF participated in a friendship liturgy. We had a wonderful liturgy. We invited God into our space to share our gratitude for our friends, all of our friends, even the friend we have in Jesus.

Many of the children in 2EF had a reading part and did very well reading in front of the two classes.
