Reminder Casual Day tomorrow Friday 20/09/2024.
Dress in Football colours. Bring a brand-new item to donate for hampers (ie. toiletries, kitchen, car, etc).
My School Dentist through the Australian Dental Foundation will visit our school in week 4 of term 2 (20-25 May) for dental check-ups during school time for children in Early Learning to Year 6.
If your child requires further follow-up treatment, the My School Dentist team will contact you to discuss the available options and obtain consent prior to performing any additional treatment. If no further treatment is required, your child will be seen in the next 6 to 12 months for their routine dental check-up.
After the dental check-up, children will be sent home with an oral health report card and free oral health pack, as well as you will be contacted by the treating dentist via phone regarding their appointment.
A registration pack is available for collection from the front office or please email info@holyfamily.catholic.edu.au for one to be sent home with your child. Please return the completed registration form to the front office by Tuesday 14 May. Staff from the My School Dentist program will collect the forms and contact you to confirm a booking.
Please note a new registration form is required for the 2024 calendar year even if your child has seen the dentist in previous visits.

Mother’s Day Liturgy
Next Monday, 13th May, our school community will be celebrating Mother’s Day with a liturgy to be held in House teams. Our Year 6 House and Sports Captains will host each liturgy, which begins at 9am. Please find the liturgy locations for your child/ren below:
• St Pope John-Paul II House (Red) – Hall
• St Vincent De Paul House (Cream) – Curiosity
• St Mary MacKillop House (Black) – Mass Centre
From 8:15am until 9:15am on the Monday morning, a Fresh Bean Adelaide coffee van will be supplying coffees free of charge. We would love to see as many mothers, grandmothers, big sisters, aunts and cousins as possible, along with all your family, and it would be fantastic if you could stay to celebrate the Mother’s Day liturgy at 9am.
Wishing all mothers and significant people in our children’s lives a Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday, and we look forward to seeing you on Monday morning.
