Some learning to go on with if you are not in class

Hello Families,

We are aware that during these times there will be students absent from school because they are having to isolate  or quarantine. Therefore, we have put together remote learning activities that can be used and altered daily to suit your child. Whilst learning is significantly important, your child’s wellbeing comes first so by no means is your child expected to complete or hand up this work within a certain time frame.

Below is an outline of activities for each subject that your child may choose to do at their own pace. The CESA website also has an online learning section full of great resources which I have linked below also! Feel free to email Miss Apolloni or myself with any queries you may have.

Tuesday Week 2

Good morning 4EF and 4NB,

Welcome to Tuesday Week 2 home learning. We hope you are all going really well.

It was great to see so many of you logged on and joining in yesterday, especially to the live lesson and interacting with the pre recorded videos.

When on Microsoft Teams please remember to keep the discussions work related. It gets really confusing for me and no doubt other students when we are trying to talk about work and our comments get lost in a sea of silly comments from others. If you want to chat to your friends, please do this via email or call each other. It is important to keep in touch during this time.

Today you will notice that our HASS mini lesson is recorded as a video presented by Mrs Feher, this is located in the discussion posts. Mrs Feher has also recorded a read aloud which can be accessed on Teams also. Once again, Mr Bartold will be presenting a live Reader’s Workshop mini lesson which you are welcome to join at 9am. Hopefully this will make some of the lessons a little bit easier to understand.

Please send your teacher a thumbs up to let them know you are on your laptop and working today.

Once you have completed your learning for the day, please attach it to an email and send it to your teacher.

Feel free to email or contact your teacher on Microsoft Teams with any questions you have about the learning throughout the day and we will reply as soon as we can.

Below is today’s learning agenda.

Literacy – Readers Workshop – 40 minutes

Brain Break – 15 minutes

Literacy – Writers Notebook – 60 minutes
