5/6EP & 5/6NB Assembly

Congratulations to all the students on our Outdoor Classroom assembly and lessons! Due to wet weather some activities were moved outside, but the students still enjoyed leading the school in various ecology themed lessons.

Assembly Friday 19th May

Dear Families,

This Friday is our class assembly. It falls on the global Outdoor Classroom Day, so we will be using this event as the theme for our assembly. This means that our assembly will be slightly different to what you are used to. Students have been working on developing an outdoor lesson for another class in the school.

They will be hosting the lesson during assembly time. We will still meet at 9am in the Hall for a welcome, introduction and prayer, before the students break off into their lessons. You are all welcome to attend as usual, however we wanted to make you aware that the assembly will be brief as we will be using the assembly time to host these outdoor activities.

We will take lots of photos of the morning to share with you on the class blog.

The students are very excited to lead their lessons, please feel free to chat to them about the activity they are hosting and which class they will be working with. Should you require any further communication please feel free to email us.

Thanks,

Nick & Claudia

Harmony Day

Today we celebrated Harmony Day with a special assembly and lunch on the oval. The students looked great in their orange and traditional clothing!

Dear Families,

It was great to meet everyone at the parent information night this week. We have provided a copy of the presentation for anyone who was unable to attend. There is also an additional slide that contains an overview of the learning areas/topics we are starting in Term 1. If you have any questions please feel free to send us an email or speak to us at school.

Thanks,
