6EB & 5KH Moon Lantern Festival Shared Lunch

Dear families of 6EB and 5KH,

On Thursday 12th of September, we will be celebrating the Moon Lantern Festival!

There will be an assembly Thursday morning at 9AM to celebrate, showcasing all of the moon lanterns made by our students.

As part of this celebration the students are invited to wear their cultural clothing on the day to celebrate the diversity of the Holy Family school community.

To further celebrate the cultures of 6EB and 5KH, we will be having a shared lunch.  If you would like to, please send in some savoury food on Thursday to help us celebrate.

Please keep in mind that we are a nut free school and have children in the class who have allergies, and also to be wary that we have egg and prawn allergies in our classes as well.

If you plan to bring something in that is homemade, can we please ask that you list all ingredients.

Thank you for your support,

Elyshia Blackley & Kate Holmes

5/6 Camp Update: Day 1 & 2

Hi families and caregivers,

My apologies, when I uploaded this on Tuesday I accidentally posted to last years blog…

The first two days of camp have been full of excitement! The children have completed a number of activities so far with the giant swing and raft making being a favourite. Tomorrow we will complete our final activity, archery!

We have gone on a night walk followed by karaoke on night 1 and tonight is movie night

Please enjoy some snaps of our time so far below.

5KH means business!

Hi families of 5KH,

Over the semester, students worked in small groups to create a business pitch to present.  Throughout term 1 students learnt about how business concepts are created and the work that goes into designing everything from logos to financial plans.

In term 2, students were able to present their businesses in the Forum. They worked extremely hard on these projects and it was great to see their enthusiasm and effort showcased for the class to see!
