Parent / Student / Teacher Interviews – Week 10

Hi families,

Just a friendly reminder that our parent/student/teacher interviews are coming up in Week 10!

A big thank you to those who have already booked a time—I’m really looking forward to meeting with you and your child. These conversations are a wonderful opportunity to check in on how they’ve settled into our classroom, celebrate their progress, and discuss their learning journey both academically and holistically.

I’ve attached the latest timetable so you can see which spots are still available. If you haven’t had a chance to book yet, you can do so via the link in the email sent by the school. If you run into any issues, feel free to reach out, and I’d be happy to help.

NAPLAN Testing Information – Weeks 7 & 8

Dear 5KH Families,

In Weeks 7 and 8 of this term, Year 3 and Year 5 students will be completing four NAPLAN tests. To support their experience, we encourage students to bring their own wired headphones (Bluetooth headphones are not permitted as they can interfere with the network).

If your child does not have wired headphones, please do not feel the need to purchase them—the school has a limited supply available for students to borrow. Headphones can be kept at school for the duration of the NAPLAN testing period.

Please take note of the upcoming NAPLAN test dates:

📌 Writing – Wednesday, 12th March 2025
📌 Reading – Thursday, 13th March 2025
📌 Conventions of Language – Monday, 17th March 2025
📌 Numeracy – Tuesday, 18th March 2025
