Nina Marni and Happy Mothers Day to all you wonderful mothers and grandmothers!
This week saw the Preschool and Long Daycare 4 combine to create a new early learning environment. This change has allowed for all children to have access to the Preschool program every day they are at Holy Family and have access to all our wonderful staff. We worked together to create a calm environment to help settle the children into the new changes.
This week we looked at family and the importance of family and the differences that each family have.
This week we celebrated Rileys 5th Birthday! Riley had a very special day with his friends, and enjoyed showing everyone his special birthday badge! Riley shared his birthday with Philip from LDC3.
With the combination of our two rooms, we worked lots in small groups to develop children’s interest. During our group times we divide the children into three groups; children who are entering Reception next term, children booked into LDC4, and Preschool children. In these smaller groups we are able to go for walks, develop certain skills and get to know your children better.
This week was also a very special week, as on Sunday it is Mothers Day. Ranjan, Jasmeet and Yusharni worked hard to support your children in making special little gifts to celebrate and show you their love. Not only did the children make something special, they also developed their fine motor skills by threading!
We enjoyed exploring our space outside Early Learning, and went for regular walks and even attended the school assembly on Friday.
As the weather continues to be beautiful, the children spent lots of time outside enjoying and exploring our environment.
We look forward to growing in our Early Learning community and continuing to explore our world around us next week!
