Holy Family Early Learning -Preschool BlogTerm 3 /Week 1/2024

Nina Marni to all and welcome to our weekly blog.

Our Learning intention one is to support new children from Long daycare 3 and their families to develop a sense of belonging in the LDC4/ Preschool learning environments as well as help existing children returning back from holidays to rhythms and rituals of Preschool and to develop relationships within their community and throughout our Holy Family Early Learning Environments.

We have been thrilled to welcome new families and welcome back our existing families after the holiday period. It has been wonderful to see children settling in so well, showcasing their existing agency and sense of identity.

Construction experiences are the most favourite in our preschool room. Children amaze everyone with their incredible ideas and explore different tools, setup, environment to create and manipulate new objects

This week we celebrated Ajak’s birthday with his peers and educators .

We have focused on getting to know each child through one-to one and small group and whole group interactions. Group games and music and movement have provided valuable opportunities to learn each others names, and deepen our sense of belonging to preschool.

Active play is another favourite experience in preschool room. Yoga, music and movement, dancing and social/group games support children to be engaged in their physical activities.

Specks of gold!!

Hope you all have a relaxing and lovely weekend .
