Why:

Ensuring our holiday season is filled with laughter and adventure.

  • Recently children were talking about chickens and giving them scraps from our dining room. Hannah will be bringing her pet chickens for us to explore this idea further.
  • By giving children the opportunity to explore a variety of nature play, it engages them in sensory play and allows them to discover new exciting materials.
  • This helps to enhance a child’s critical thinking, brain development and language development, which gives them the ability to build towards more complex learning tasks in the future.

Natural environments provide children with endless opportunities to explore investigate and be innovative through imagination and creativity. Our little learners have been very creative and quite explorative throughout this holiday week putting to use all of their innovative and creative skills. Some enriched moments of sustainability were captured where children took responsibility towards taking care of their own learning spaces and its foliage.
