LDC A. Term 3 Week 4
LDC A have been very busy and very involved in their learning this week.
The children have been continuing with their love of books with many different stories been read.
There has been writing practise as the children have been placing their mark onto the paper. They also got the opportunity to trace the letters of the alphabet. Many of them enjoyed saying the letters of the alphabet and finding the first letter of their name. This is a great step in independence as they learn to recognise their name and begin to write their name.
Outcome 4 – Children are confident and involved learners
The children are continuing to enjoy feeding the worm’s the food scraps from morning tea. Some of them are even brave enough to hold a worm and feel it wiggle in their hands.
LDC B joined us as we headed out to the Park /Oval to collect rubbish. The children eagerly explored the grounds and their eyes searched for the rubbish. The bucket was soon very full of rubbish. Time to head back to place this into the bin.
The children are learning how to care for the world around them.
Outcome 2 – Children are connected with and contribute to their world
It has been a very busy week but we still managed to find time for exploration in the room. Watching the cars go down the track going from one level to the other. How does the car get to the other level? Why does the road tip and allow the car to go to the next level?
Outcome 4 – Children are confident and involved learners 4.2 – Children develop a range of skills and processes such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation, hypothesis, researching and investigating.
