Hello RCC families and children, welcome to our weekly blog. What an eventful week this has been! Reconciliation week, Mission week and assembly brought so much excitement to our school. The students were thrilled to take part and learn about these special events.

In our everyday English learning, we

• revised all the heart words learnt so far
  
• all graphemes/phonemes have been learnt
  
• Poem for the week was – Hey Diddle Diddle
• interactive writing on board: creating a sentence with the heart word
• revisited checklist of what makes a book finished.
  

In Maths,

The students learned about

Part, whole, add, addition, subtraction, equation, equals, number bonds etc.

In Health, the students learned – Language Safety , developed an understanding about what non-blaming language is. 

In Religion, the students gained knowledge about the history of Jesus’ miracles. 

We watched videos and discussed about different significant events in different cultures in HASS lesson.
