Hello REB Families, welcome to our Week 2 Blog!

This week in English we:

-Continued to focus on finger spaces and staying on the lines. It has been so wonderful to see each child processing in this area!

-started our new bookmaking spotlight on information texts. We compared information texts and narratives and began our own books on topics that we know lots of facts about.

In Maths we:

-counted and represented collections to 20

-revised writing numerals

-continued to represent numbers through number mats

 

In Religion we:

-discussed the Bible and how it is used in Catholic practices. We read the story ‘Noah’s Ark’ and re-told the story through drawings.

 

 

In HASS we:

-used our senses and emerging understanding of ‘features’ to draw our playgound.

 

 

In Arts and Technologies we:

-explored the different flags of the countries competing in the Olympics. We then made our own Flags, taking into consideration our own backgrounds.
