Hello, lovely RFL families! Week 10 has been full of learning and fun. Here’s a quick look at what your children have been up to.
In English, we enjoyed reading Possum in the House—the kids loved the possum’s adventures! We practiced writing our names and worked on the letters s, t, m, a, and p. They also stretched out words to hear each sound and tried spelling them—great progress there! In book making, we looked at the books we’ve created, making sure every page has drawings and writing.
In Maths, we explored patterns. The children created their own using colors and shapes, then continued patterns we started together. It was exciting to see their creativity shine.
Wednesday brought Market Day, and what a treat it was! The classroom was buzzing as the kids traded, shared, and had a fantastic time. Ask them about it—they’ll have stories to share!
For Science, we made habitat crafts with paper plates, imagining homes for animals with trees, water, and more.
In HASS, we talked about our likes and dislikes, learning what makes us special.
Health was all about using school items safely, and the children shared some clever ideas.
In Religion, we explored the Easter story, reflecting on new beginnings.
