What a wonderful week we’ve had! The children thoroughly enjoyed constructing their playgrounds using recycled materials. They really thought about the position of each feature and carefully chose materials accordingly.
We also welcomed Trent Hill to our class, an Indigenous storyteller, educator and guide. Trent showcased all the different Aboriginal artefacts, gave a general introduction about Aboriginal culture and shared his knowledge around seasonal movements, the roles of men, women and children and the diversity of Aboriginal people.
