RLY & RUF Blog, Week 3, Term 3 , 2025

Dear families and children, welcome to our weekly Blog!

What a wonderful and lively week it has been in RLY & RUF!

We started the week on a high note with a very special visit from Andrew Chinn. The students were absolutely thrilled to attend his concert on Monday. It was a heartwarming experience to see them singing, dancing, and joining in with such enthusiasm. Their joyful energy was contagious, and it was certainly a highlight of our week!

Throughout the week, the children in RUF have been busy preparing for our upcoming assembly, pouring their creativity into artwork that reflects the theme of kindness. It’s been beautiful to watch them express their thoughts and feelings through art, all while building important social and emotional connections. On Friday, we had a wonderful Assembly. Well done RUF children, for the amazing performance.

In English, our young writers have been shining! There is a growing sense of confidence and pride as they practice writing words and forming sentences, taking real ownership of their learning. Their excitement about reading and writing is truly inspiring.

Over in Maths, we’ve been learning through hands-on play. The children have been actively exploring counting, addition, and subtraction in a range of playful and meaningful ways. It’s a joy to see them so engaged and curious, finding different ways to solve problems and talk about numbers.

We’re so proud of all their efforts this week and look forward to another week of wonder and learning ahead!
