What a lovely week we’ve had in RUF! The children have settled beautifully into our newly refurbished classroom. They are showing great care and pride in keeping their learning environment neat, organised, and welcoming, it truly reflects their joy in learning.
In Religious Education, we discussed God’s creation and reflected on how we are blessed by the world around us. The children shared thoughtful ideas about how we can care for our environment and show gratitude for all that God has given us.
In English, the children are becoming confident writers, learning new letters and sounds, forming complete sentences and taking such pride in their own work. It’s wonderful to see their growing independence and excitement as they express their ideas through writing.
In Mathematics, we have been exploring the part-part-whole concept. The children are developing a strong understanding of how numbers can be broken apart and put together in different ways.
In health, the children learned about different body parts, their functions, and how to take care of them. They enjoyed identifying ways to keep their bodies healthy and strong.
It has been a week full of curiosity, care, and connection. We are so proud of how the children continue to learn and grow together!
