RLY & RUF Blog – Week 7, Term 1, 2025.

Dear RLY and RUF families and children, welcome to our weekly blog!

What an exciting and eventful week it has been in our classes! The highlight of our week was the much-anticipated assembly. The students were full of enthusiasm as they practiced their dance and prepared “Holi Themed’ decorations for the hall. Although the extreme heat prevented us from performing in front of the whole school, we found a wonderful alternative – recording the performance! Now, we have a special keepsake to cherish this moment forever. The children put in so much effort, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work.

In English, we have seen fantastic growth in the children’s engagement. As they become more familiar with the rhythms of learning, their confidence in participating in activities and actions has grown. This week, they have demonstrated wonderful critical thinking and creativity, especially in their book making. It’s been rewarding to see their ideas come to life through illustrations!

In Maths, we introduced new unit- shape. Children identified, sorted and made different shapes, relating them to real-life objects.

Reminders:

  • Kindly ensure that your child brings fruits, snacks, and lunch as we have three meal times each day.
  • Hats need to be brought to school each day or students will not be able to play outside and will need to stay in the shade.

Thank you to all for your ongoing support. We look forward to another fantastic week of learning and fun! Have a wonderful weekend!

    • Thank you 🙂
We love seeing Indiana happy and engaged at school. It’s a joy to have her as part of our learning community.
