Mathematics- This week, learning has centered around the topic of time. We learnt about the months of the year, days of the week and seasons of the year. On Tuesday, we listened to the story of, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. The students recorded the different things the caterpillar ate through on each day.
Science- The students have enjoyed doing their science learning in the MUDLA this term. This week, we again spoke about how plants are living things, and discussed the different fruit and vegetables the students know of. They then drew and labelled different fruits and vegetables in their books.
Technologies-Over the past three weeks, the students have been making different types of puppets. This week we made some superhero stick puppets.
Rhyme Time-
Today we sang the song, “1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Once I caught a Fish Alive”. We asked the students if they could think of any words that rhyme with the word bite.
Here is what some of the students came up with:
Elden- right
Sofia- night
Wyatt- kite
Mattia- flight
Anyar- light
Ayush- white
The students then created a visual representation of the song.
Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday.
